Pref
News Flash!!! Flemmingh has just been given the
Preferent status by the KWPN. This is the highest rating a stallion can receive in Holland
from the KWPN indicating he is of the highest quality and contribution to the KWPN
breeding program.
Flemmingh has five approved sons. The first international performances of his offspring
have shown them to be truly world class. His son Lingh is doing very well at Grand Prix
and as of June 30, 2003 is rated 18th in the BN World Stallion Dressage Rankings and the most notable Krack C, winner of the Pavo Cup in 2000, is rated 8th in the world with Anky Van
Grunsven! Both Krack C and Lingh are selected for the Dutch A-team.
Flemmingh is the sire of many champion mares: Kwebbel, reserve-champion UTV and the
highest IBOP of the Netherlands with 90 points;
Likina Field, reserve-champion UTV; Kevanie, UTV reserve-champion.
In the Pavo Cup the Flemminghs are very successful; for example, the Dutch Champion Krack
C. Flemmingh sires beautiful big, long-lined horses with three perfect gaits. This can be
seen on numerous Ster and Keur mares, and Champion foals.
The foals of Flemmingh are very much in demand by dressage riders, trainers and dealers
because they are very eager learners, like to work and move very easily. Flemmingh is an
internationally appreciated dressage stallion.
Flemmingh scored nine out of a possible 10 for three
sections of his performance test - paces, trainability and jumping under saddle - and is noted for passing on good conformation and excellent movement
to his progeny. Flemmingh is regarded as an outstanding improver of action
(especially from the shoulder).
There is an incredible article on Flemmingh's famous dam Texas - www.meadowcreekfarms.com/texas.htm.
Flemmingh's dam also produced three other approved sons: Gaspari I and II and the Holstein
Champion Litorio.
Flemmingh is line-bred to Ladykiller xx through Lacapo and
Lorenz, a practice employed in Holstein breeding to reinforce and increase the percentage
of proven talent in the bloodlines.
Lacapo - represented by a good BLUP score for dressage of
