Brinkley is our "Old Soul" she is wiser than her years.  She is one of the sweetest most affectionate and distinguished Danes you will ever meet.  She enjoys a good run, a big cuddle with her dad in bed and insists on leaving a large string of "gob" on her mom every morning after breakfast (mom has learned not to put on the "good or clean" clothes until after feeding time. :-)  Brinkley had a very successful  show career, despite a "poorly managed" crop (Brinkley lived with another family from 4 months to 13 months of age) and then topped her accomplishments in the ring by producing a wonderful litter of 11.  Brinkley has endured a lot in her life.  She was attacked by another dog (non related) when she was younger which left her with a large scar on her shoulder and some scar tissue damage that at times constricts return blood flow from her foot, she has also persevered through a Splenic torsion, and when the scare of a Pyometra (uterine infection) surfaced after a heat cycle, we didn't even hesitate to do what was best for Brinkley and we spayed her (it turns out that there was no Pyometra and it was in fact an incorrect diagnosis).  Brinkley is now the ever watchful guardian of the couch or bed, the ever concerned watchful eye of new babies  and is so happy just to be   ......

Diva - Our BLUE BOMBSHELL - what a girl this one is.  She is as happy and energetic as they come, there isn't anyone that she doesn't or can't make friends with, she is goofy and silly and in the wink of an eye can turn a bad day into a party filled with clowns, balloons, cake, sunshine and a rainbow !!  Diva finished her Championship by 11 months of age and did it wagging her tail the whole time.  She loves the spotlight and being the center of attention and to the chagrin of most men who enter the house is very accurate with a quick unsuspecting right cross.  She loves to give hugs and kisses and can find a toy anywhere in the house (hidden or not) so that someone will play tug with her.  She never gets mad and if someone is unsure of her, she runs right back to make friends.  She is the hit of all of the kids she meets with her ability to turn into a bouncing kissing fool when someone lets out a squeal.  According to Becky, she makes the best TV watching pillow.. I think Diva likes it because she gets to cuddle and care for her little girl.
