One of the most important responsibilities of the Alberta Federation of Labour
is to stimulate public debate on issues effecting working people and unions.
With this goal in mind, the AFL prepares and presents numerous briefs to all
three levels of government: municipal, provincial and federal. These documents
outline the labour movement’s concerns and suggestions for action. Below, you
