As I sit thinking about the past several years
with Airedale Terriers, a number of things come to mind. First of
all how much I love the companionship of these fine animals and
secondly how wonderful the day becomes as I spend time with them.
A perfect day seems to start with a walk in the woods, a run along
the river, a trek up the frozen creek, or if we are really lucky
a hike in the mountains. Even a walk around the block can be rewarding
as we greet old and new friends. A line I once heard which might
be appropriately placed here goes something like this, "Dogs
aren't our whole lives, but they make our lives whole."
