Wow! You made it!
Now you're probably pretty excited as in England there are lots of cathedrals, castles, gardens and pubs to visit. You think of rolling hills, sheep and roundabouts. Well sorry to add a touch of reality but what you are going to see most are:
That's right, cones. There are thousands of them all over the motorways. There are numbers to call if a cone is out of place or more are needed. There's even automatic cone dispensing lorries (trucks). Pathetic, yes!

Urquhart Castle - Not much to see but most common spot to see the Loch Ness Monster from (I didn't)
Alistair Bear's Best Stately Homes:
Woburn Abbey - Go to the giftshop and buy the book on "How To Run a Stately Home", it's hilarious.
Chatsworth House - Allow a whole day, take in the gardens. It's expensive but it's worth it.
Blenheim Palace - I lived in Yarnton just about 10 minutes away. This is a magnificent place. Did you know Sylvester Stallone was married here?

(Did I mention Cadbury World? Sorry but Alistair Bear is a bit of a chocolate addict)
The Black Country Museum -Quite close to Cadbury World (allow a full day)
Wookey Hole - Allow a 1/2 day
