Butterfly Mime

There were usually buskers in the park. We liked to stroll through there and watch them on a warm summy afternoon.

He started out crawling on the ground. He made it look like he had more that four limbs, and his body undulated gently up and down. After a while, he lifted his head up, waved it around for a while, and then started taking big bites of something.

After a while, he turned around and went over on his back. He looked like he was waving his arms and legs in the air, and wiggling his body along the ground.

After a few more minutes of this, he started wiggling around his legs. After a while we realized he was spinning himself a cocoon.

He didn't do a whole lot in the cocoon. We kept watching, though, and sure enough, eventually he started to wiggle around again. He bit a hole open in the cocoon, and struggled out.

Then he stretched his wings and flew away. We watched him disappear over the trees. We left him a $10 bill in his hat. It had been a good show.
