100 Words: History Books

Just another name in somebody's stupid appendix. Regurgitated in exam sessions by bored students. Not quite what I'm aiming for here.

They'll know me, all right. They'll talk about me in hushed whispers. Mothers won't use me to scare their children, I won't be that kind. But I'm sure I'll make their children more precious for them, thankful that they still have them at all.

Inventor of some obscure device that can pierce the dimensions--dull. But Betrayer of Humankind--now that has a ring to it.

Assuming, of course, that I can count on those half-witted aliens to do their part...
