A Special Goodbye
After entering our lives when we were expecting our son seventeen years ago Kitty remained with us until this spring. It is estimated she was four to five years old when she crawled out of the engine of another car at a gas station near our home. We took her home and she won us over immediately. She was a tortoiseshell domestic longhair who will live in our hearts forever. We have had many ups and downs in our lives during her time with us and she was always there with a ready purr and unconditional love. We named her Kitty jokingly saying if the right home ever came along she was going to go to it - ours was always the right home for her. She became the house matriarch over the years and was loved by all. She was a very special girl and she is deeply missed.
