Blackbird has been established to address the capital and management needs of fast growing technology companies located in the Edmonton region. Blackbird invests in, raises capital for and provides management assistance to technology based companies at various stages of growth.

The primary mandate of Blackbird has been the establishment of the Edmonton Technology Venture Fund which invests seed funding in early stage technology companies.

Blackbird also offers corporate finance services to assist companies in raising various forms of capital whether it be equity, debt, start-up or mezzanine financing.
