The Edmonton Freecycle™ Network is open to all who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself!

One constraint: everything must be free. This network is brought to you by The Freecycle Network, a non-profit organization and a movement of people interested in keeping good stuff out of landfills.

*You MUST be living in Edmonton*
*or surrounding area to be a member of this list.*

List Rules and Etiquette

***In the Spirit of Freecycle***
***We request that your first post be an OFFER***

1) NO POLITICS & NO SPAM
Two strikes & you're out

2) SUBJECT LINE

Use these formats to ensure your message gets posted

Offer - Old couch - Your Location
Taken - Old couch
Wanted - Old couch
Found - Old couch

Do not use all capitals in postings. These posts will be returned to you for modification.
3) Can we request/offer animals on Freecycle?
Yes, but all "Pet Posts" must go through our "Pet Moderator" first.

4) KEEP IT FREE
No trading, bartering or money exchanged.

5) FYI: RESPONSES GO ONLY TO OFFERER
It keeps down the sheer # of e-mails.

6) PICK UP
Arrange as you like. Who you give to is up to you.
7) For every 4 items requested, offer at least one item.
It keeps the sharing cycle constant.

Proudly Canadian
