Craft Afternoon - Adults Only!

Date: Saturday March 20th and April 24th
When: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm (new time)
Cost: FREE for community league members and $5.00 for non-community league members
Where: Belmead main hall

Note: Please bring your own snacks and drinks; tea and coffee will be provided.

Enjoy an afternoon crafting away from the kids where you focus on scrapbooking, stamping, card making or whatever craft you chose.

2nd Annual Apple WinterActive Festival

Date: Saturday February 6th
When: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Where: Belmead Community Centre

Belmead Community League is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Apple WinterActive Festival!

Belmead School, St. Benedict’s School and the City of Edmonton are teaming up with Belmead Community League for a day of fun winter activities.

Both schools are “Apple Schools” and are dedicated to making healthy choices be easy choices! Healthy snacks and drinks will also be available along with fun events like:

Olympic-themed games
Snow castle building
Cross country skiing
Horse-drawn sleigh rides
Snowshoeing
Ice Skating
Snow Art
and much more !

Belmead Spring Break Camp

Date: Monday March 29th to Thursday April 1st

When: Daily from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
(Early drop off at 8:00am and late pick up until 5:00pm provided)
Cost: $40.00 per child (VAC eligible)

Animated Play Theme Camp – inspired by your favorite video game characters

Daily Themes:
Monday – Whether it’s Mario Kart, Super Mario World or Super Mario Bros, this day is full of Mario!
Tuesday – Help Zelda and Link find force gems and travel the world!
Wednesday – Team up with Donkey & Diddy Kong to collect the letters K-O-N-G and eat bananas!
Thursday – Finish the week with a rockin’ performance—parents are invited to attend!

Annual General Meeting

When: Monday to Thursday 10:30 am to 5:30 pm and Friday 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm (closed during lunch)

Where: Belmead Community League Dinosaur Park

Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to drop by Belmead's local playground for a free fun-filled summer! Join the exciting games, crafts, music, drama and special events. Leaders (hired through The City of Edmonton) are easily identifiable by their blue Community Services shirts. Playground staff are required to pass a security clearance and are trained in First Aid. Most importantly, all of our leaders are certified specialists in FUN!

*Please note: It is highly recommended that a parent or guardian supervise children under 8 years old at all times.
