Hosting a family reunion? A special anniversary, birthday party or a wedding reception? Need a convenient meeting space for your club or organization? The Belmead Community Centre is ideally suited for family and community gatherings.

General Information:
Seating for 120.
Recently painted/tiled and neutrally decorated.
Padded grey fabric chairs.
Fully wheelchair accessible with ample parking.
Air conditioned and fresh air exchange system.
Raised stage.
Fully equipped Edmonton Board of Health approved kitchen and bar features:

  • Separate outside entrance with easy access from the parking lot
  • Large food preparation island
  • Two x 4 burner ranges with ovens
  • Large commercial refrigerator and separate freezer
  • Commercial dishwasher
  • Cutlery and dishes available

Discount of 25% for BCL members on the hall rental fee (minimum one year membership to qualify).

Rental Fees:
$300.00 Damage deposit on all rentals. Rates are subject to change, please see current rental agreement.

Kitchen, ice machine, janitorial services and tablecloths are available for additional fees.

* In order to serve alcohol during an event at the Belmead Community Centre, you will need 1) a liquor license which is available at local liquor outlets and 2) "host liquor liability insurance" that names Belmead Community League as an "additionally insured" party in the amount of $2 million. You are responsible for obtaining the necessary liquor license and liability insurance, and must provide copies of the necessary documents to the office before getting the keys. In all cases, you cannot sell tickets at the door and must know all attendees.

Additional Rental Information for Belmead Community Centre

There is to be no pinning, nailing, taping, or tacking of items to the walls. If items need to be attached to the walls, sticky tack putty should be used and removed afterwards.

Make sure you get your damage deposit back!

The Belmead Community Centre must be left in clean condition. If the hall is not cleaned properly, a cleaning fee will be assessed and deducted from the damage deposit.

Kitchen:

  1. Ensure fridge is clean and remove any items from fridge or freezer that belong to you
  2. Ensure stove tops are cleaned and free from spills
  3. Ensure microwave is clean and free from spills
  4. Countertops should be wiped clean
  5. All dishes and utensils should be washed and put away
  6. Sinks and taps should be cleaned
  7. Kitchen floor should be swept and damp mopped
  8. Garbage should be bagged, sealed and taken to dumpster
  9. Replace any items used up (paper towels, garbage bags) from the hall supplies. Paper supplies are kept in the southeast storage room. Garbage bags are kept under the kitchen sink.

Main Area:

  1. Floor should be swept and damp mopped
  2. Windows and sills should be free from spills and marks
  3. Walls should be free from spills and marks
  4. All tables and chairs must be folded and stored in the storage rooms

Washrooms:

  1. Ensure toilets are flushed following your event


Before leaving the hall ensure all interior and exterior lights are turned off, ensure all doors are locked and the alarm has been turned on.
