BCL is proud to sponsor both indoor and outdoor soccer programs through the Edmonton West Zone Soccer Association (EWZSA) with the support of soccer volunteers. We greatly appreciate all the help we get from the coaches, their assistants, the team managers and the dedicated parents of our community, for their tireless effort and contributions to making our children's sports experience an enjoyable one. The Board gratefully acknowledges the Soccer Coordinator, Randy who does a tremendous job!

EWZSA offers a diverse soccer program for players of various skill levels in the 6 to Under 18 years age groups. All players must be current Community League members and show proof of membership at time of registration. Players are able to play with their community friends or school friends in the community league program. Players must sign up at their home Community first and request movement to another community team. Teams are tiered during the season according to game results.

There is a lot of ground work to forming teams, registering teams, locating coaches, schedule organization and equipment organization. Please attend the registration dates noted below. Late registrations will be charged a $20.00 late fee and will only be accepted if space permits. Pick up forms at the Belmead Community Hall during office hours or at 18905 - 90 Avenue.

You will be required to bring the following documents with you when you register your child.

• Cheque payable to Belmead Community League (or cash) for Outdoor soccer fees and Community Membership fees. Please note that BCL does not accept post-dated cheques.
• Separate cheque required (or cash) in order to pay for players EWZSA Indoor Soccer fees.
• Players birth certificate and current healthcare card.
• We also require a name and telephone number of an emergency contact person.

REFUND/NSF/RETURNED CHEQUE POLICY: $35.00 minimum charge applied to all registration cancellations and returned cheques.

Registration for the 2010 Outdoor Soccer season will be held at Belmead Community Centre:

The Belmead fees will include all EWZSA fees, referee fees, photos, socks, equipment depreciation and replacement, year end party and one soccer tournament for team (providing volunteer support is provided).

Parents must supply: water bottle, shin pads, running shoes or soccer shoes. The referee will not let a player play without soccer shin pads.

Teams are coached and managed by parent and community volunteers. Please consider donating some time to help our soccer program continue.
