Biography November 30, 2007 Singer songwriter solo on acoustic guitar or with a band; performs as a sideman too on lead electric and acoustic guitar with acts ranging from R&B to Children's Music, including a lot of Folk and Blues. A literary person's songwriter. If you listen to the lyrics in his own songs you will see why he's been called the Canadian Frank Zappa. "Breezy" Brian Gregg was born in Edmonton. He has played lead guitar in bands since 1967. The bands include the Angus Park Blues Band, who warmed up for Led Zeppelin when they played in Edmonton on their first North American tour. In 1978 his song "Changes Fly By" was chosen for the song writer's showcase in Los Angeles. He has also been a member of Everyman's Tonto, the Big Dreamer Band, in the late 80's and 90's, and more recently The Lou Pride Band. In the year 2000 Brian did three tours with the Lou Pride Band playing lead guitar. Lou Pride is an R&B singer from Chicago. Again in the fall of 2001 Lou Pride had Brian on his Western Canadian Tour. Brian has released two CDs of his original songs: "Electronic Busker" CD. 1993 and "Spirit Of A Stone" CD. 1999 On Wednesday nights Breezy Bri' hosts the Little Flower Open Stage at the Fiddler's Roost. This is a weekly 100% volunteer run, notfor profit, open stage in Edmonton. Quite an amazing guitarist in that he knows so many styles. He has a very quick ear so he can create a part, on the spot, for a song he has never heard. He'll perform folk, blues, country, rock, swing, and can do hot, hot, electric guitar or the most sensitive acoustic or classical. In 1997 he played guitar on two independent CDs: Terry Morrison's "NoCovers" and Mike Sadava's "One More Chance". The CD's were reviewed as two of the best to come out in Edmonton that year. He can also be heard doing tracks on Scott Cook's Second CD |

"It is always a pleasure to share a stage
with Brian. As a player he has a certain kind of fluidity and he jumps in
with both feet. As a song writer he a has a kind of unique blend of commentary,
and the surreal."
