Freedoms

Poppies growing in Flander’s Field.
Other people were not much older than I, fought in war so we could have a better life.
People fight for freedoms.
Perfect poppies being picked for Remembrance Day.
Intensely the families wait for their loved ones to come home.
Eventually the people thought they were going to win.
Suffering people with lots of pain because they have been gunned down to keep our freedoms.
