This letter is written to express our appreciation for the high level of work excellence [Compact] employees demonstrated during the recent modification activity at our plant.
The job had a very short timeframe, and the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction were all forced to proceed simultaneously. Normally, that type of situation could be expected to result in numerous inefficiencies and delays. Instead, through the extra efforts of all [Compact employees] that were involved in this work, the job was completed on schedule, and with very few examples of rework. This would not have been possible without everyone working together as a team. [Compact's] construction foreman...was very effective at keeping the field work on schedule. A good portion of the work was done in an operating plant, which brought added safety and coordination concerns. Even though the work proceeded at a rapid pace, [Compact] worked safely and competently.
