OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Coralwood Adventist Academy will provide a Christian education to nurture the inquiring mind, the joy of discovery, positive health, and the enjoyment of having and sharing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

It is the work of true education...to train the youth to be thinkers and not mere reflectors of other men's thoughts.... True education means more than the pursuit of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental and the spiritual powers. It prepares the student for the joy of service in this world, and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.

Coralwood Adventist Academy recognises that God, the Creator and Sustainer of the earth and the entire universe, is the Source of true knowledge and wisdom.

We believe Christian education…

· restores in man the image of his Maker
· nurtures an intelligent dedication to the work of God on earth
· develops a practical preparation for conscientious service to his fellow man.
· ensures that youth receive a balanced physical, mental social, and vocational education
· promotes God's revealed mind and will as the criteria for right and wrong
· strives for the optimum development of the whole child
· endeavours to train children to be patriotic, law-abiding citizens, as well as loyal, conscientious Christians.

A true knowledge of God, fellowship and companionship with Him in study and service, and likeness to Him in character development, are the source, the means and the aim of Seventh-day Adventist Christian education.
