Madame Godin’s Grade Three Class

We’ve worked a lot with words that describe to add interest to our writing samples.

In this exercise we tried to give to the reader the chance to experience Winter. We used the 5 senses.

 

Winter looks like a blanket of snow on cars on top of roofs and snowy hills.

Winter sounds like frozen waterfalls with the ice falling off.

Winter feels cold like when snow goes down your back while your doing snow angels.

Winter smells like my icy hairs in my nose that are frozen.

Winter tastes like a big juicy turkey in the oven baking and people's mouth's watering.

Winter sounds like wind blowing hard on the trees blowing the branches that move. {I mean, wind blowing the branches so they move.}

Winter smells like sunny side up eggs freshly served in a three-course breakfast.

Winter tastes like warm and fresh hot chocolate from the kettle.
