Materials needed: Pictures from your teacher

In this Lesson, you will learn:

(a) correct posture for keyboarding through pictures and

(b) fingering for the home-row

1. Please read the handout: The Adventures of Typo, The Boy who Learned How to Type.

-P.2 to P.5

2.Please go over Getting Started P.3 to 8.

Go over each of the pictures very carefully until you understand

all of the details.

3. Put your Left Hand Pinky on letter A.

4. Put your Right Hand Pinky on semi-colon.

5. Put all the rest of fingers on the home-row.

6. Check your posture according to the pictures you have

seen.

7. Check your fingers to see if they are on the right

way according to the pictures you have see.

8. Try to memorize which finger covers letter A.

9. Try to memorize which finger covers semi-colon.

10. Try to memorize which finger covers letter F.

11. Try to memorize which finger covers letter J.

12. Do you know which finger covers S?

13. Do you know which finger covers L?

14. Which finger on the left hand was not

mentioned?

15. Which finger on the right hand was not

mentioned?

16. Do Numbers 3 to 15 until you can answer

all the questions without looking at the keyboard.

17.You are done this session if you can do Number 3 to 15. Good Job!
