| Post 3 short samples of Writing to the Message Board
Each piece of writing
should be a minimum of six
full sentences. The maximum should be about 500 words. Teachers, use your discretion.
Students are asked to post 3 sampless of writing to the Message Board under the categories:
A. Settings (location)
B. Settings (time)
C. Characters
D. Problems/conflicts
Important note:Make sure students save their work on a floppy disc
or on the hard drive before posting to the message board.
Help student evaluate components of their writing using the
Writing Assessment Rubric as guide.

Have studnets respond to two samples of writing
on the message board by changing them in any way they wish.

| One Web Page from Teachers for all narrative stories
Teachers, please
Have the students make their web pages by copy and pasting the
original and changed stories
/writing on their web pages
(with a note to let their e-pal know how they react to the changes).

or miscellaneous writing of their choice.
When you are ready to submit them (deadline January 12), please submit them in webpages according to their categories.
For example, all poems should be on one web page;
all persuasive writings should be on another webpage, etc.

In order to qualify for funding, please send a paragraph
detailing:
1. How the project went.
2. The impact of this project on your student's learning, include comments on the impact of
using the Internet and Information and communications Technologies.
(i.e.) what the students learned about computer technology
3. Describe what curriculum outcomes/expectations were achieved
and/or not achieved and why.
(i.e.) what the students learned about using the web through Tools For Learning
4. What the students learned about writing,
5. In what ways did students work together both during the project
and in creating the website?
6. your contribution to the project.
7. Please share some of your student's thoughts on this project.
(i.e.)specific examples/highlights of reactions from students.
