How To Build a Tightrope

As part of our science unit, Building with a Variety of Materials, our class made tightropes out of spaghetti. Read the instructions below to find out how to make one of your very own!

Do you want to know how to make a tightrope with man? Take 2 cups and a pencil take the pencil and poke it at the bottom middle of both cups. Take 2 straws and 1 scissors. Take the scissors and make slits on each straw 1 time side by side. Poke the slits on each straw and put each straw in each cup. Take the string put it into the slits. That’s how you make a tightrope with a man. By A

HOW TO MAKE A TIGHT ROPE

First of all you gather these materials: dry spaghetti, 12 inches of string, 2 straws and some masking tape also a half of a cork 2 skewers {sticks}, 2 of the same sizes of plasticine balls. Next you take your straws on one side of each straw cut one inch then on your other straw. After you have done that take a hand full of your spaghetti and rip it in half then tape it on a flat surface tan do that to the other side. Third you tape the part of the straw that isn’t cut and tape it to the spaghetti stick do the same to the other one. Fourth thing take your string and tie tiny knots on each side of your string and stick it in each slit. Last but not least take your cork and 2 skewers and stick your skewers in the cork then stick your plasticine on each end ! And now you know how to make a tightrope and a tightrope walker.

Making a tight rope walker

You are going to make a tight rope walker. You need a bunch of spaghetti,2 cups,2 straws, lots of tape, 2 rolled pieces of sticky tack, 2 corks and a string. These are your instructions. Set a lot
of spaghetti and put it together. Put all of the tape around it. Then stick 2 straws on the table with some tape. Last cut the straws at the top and tie the string to the two straws and put the big spaghetti roll in the middle but put some tape on the bottom of the big roll. Good luck and have fun. By C.

This is how you make a tightrope walker. First you get some spaghetti. Split it in half so it is not short. Second tape both of the spaghetti separate. Third take a skewer and snap it in half one time. Then you stick both of the half of the skewers in one half of a cork so they look like arms pointing down. After tape the spaghetti together separately. And tape it to your desk/table. Snap another skewer in half. Finally put the tightrope walker on the string. By C

First you get at least get one CM of spaghetti wide. Then you put it in the holes of the straw, but the spaghetti has to be full size. You can’t put it in the where you cut the straws. After tape the part where you put the spaghetti. So you bend the straws, put the rope at the top where the cuts are. That’s how you do it! That is how to make a tight rope walker. By C.


First of all put spaghetti in each of these straws. Second, cut two slots across from each other on each straw, as long as the width of your pinky. Finally, you take a string and tie two knots at each end of the string. By C.

How to make a tightrope walker.

First you take a bunch of spaghetti and split it in half. Then you tape the bottom and all around the spaghetti groups. Take a straw at one end of the straw cut two slits in it. Now take a string at both ends of the string tie a knot. Tape the straw to the one of the groups of spaghetti. Take a cork and two skewers stab the skewers in the cork like arms. Now take a little ball of plastercine put at the end of the skewers and that’s your tightrope walker. Put your tightrope walker on the string and balance it in till it works. By C.

First you tape a bunch of spaghetti to some string, how you do it is that you ring it around the spaghetti and tape it. And then you tape the bottom of the spaghetti so it won’t open when you try to tape it to the floor/table. And there you have a tightrope.

How to make a tight rope and walker do you want to know how to make a tight rope and walker? First grab a little bit of spaghetti. Second grab 4 pieces of masking tape and rape it around the spaghetti so it stays together. Third get two pieces of tape then tape it to the sides. Then make another roll of spaghetti and do the same thing. After make a third roll and stand it together with masking tape then do the exactly the same thing. Next grab a peace of string and tape it to each side of both spaghetti. Finally you make a tight rope walker grab two little pieces of plastacine and poke it in the skewer. This is how you make a tight rope and walker. First I gather all the supplies the stack of the noodles and string, straws together. Then I put the noodles. Second I tape around the noodles I have two stacks of noodles on each side of my desk. Third I put the tape around the straws to my noodles. Then I put a knot in the string then I put the string in the slit then I put the tight rope walker on it. That’s how to make a tight rope walker. By M.

The tightrope walker

If you want to build a tightrope keep on reading. The first thing I did is took two handfuls of noodles and broke them in half and rapped tape around the noodles to hold them together. Secondly I taped the straw to the noodles. Thirdly I taped the noodles to my desk. Then I tied a not in each end of the string and stuck it in two slits that I cut in one end of the of the straws across from each other. After I stuck two skewers in to a cork. Next I wanted to see it balance and it did. That is how you build a tightrope and tightrope walker with spaghetti.

First you gather up two groups of spaghetti. Next you put some tape on each side of the spaghetti you bend the straw a little bit. Then you put the long string in between the splits last you try it to see if it works. If it breaks you can keep trying. That was how you build a tightrope walker.

First take two straws and bend them about an inch up next take about five peace of spaghetti and put them in the small port of the stalk and tape it were the spaghetti and the stalk meets. third cut small slits in the top of the straw than take the slits in the top of the straws then take the string and tie two knots at the ends of the string. Next put the string in the slits and make sure that the knots are on the outside of the straws. Finally put a piece of spaghetti on the string with tape.

How to make a tight rope and walker. First grab two straws and fold them in half face down on the table. Then grab a handful of spaghetti sticks and tape the spaghetti sticks to two straws and make sure you cut a hole on the top of the straw on the red line just an inch. By T.

We taped string to spaghetti and taped spaghetti and cone to the string. And there is a tight rope. Then we tried plastercine but it did not work so we taped it down on the table. That’s how we built a tight rope .

Would you like to make a tight rope walker if so follow these instructions? First you get spaghetti and you tape it into a spear second we put tape on the top and bottom third you tape the straw the milled of the spaghetti. Put a straw on the top of the spaghetti and tape it. Now you can make a tightrope walker. Cut the cork in half. Put two skewers in the sides of the cork you are almost finished just put two pies of plasters on the ends of the skewers. Now you are finished. By D.
