Write-Break Adult Literacy Project

Would you like to upgrade or improve your

* Math or spelling skills?

If so, the Write Break Literacy Program will arrange for one-on-one free, confidential tutoring for you.

Rainbow Literacy Society

The Rainbow Literacy Society is a volunteer non-profit society that promotes literacy to everyone in Vulcan County. The society is responsible for the following projects:

1. Building Blocks
Trained workers (Builders) provide free in-home literacy support to families with children ages 0 to 15. Help your children improve their literacy skills..

2. Time for Rhymes
This program teaches mothers with preschoolers rhymes, rhythm, songs, chants, and stories to share with their children. Programs are running or can be available in Vulcan County communities.

3. Books for Babies
Bags with books and information are given to all parents with newborns in Vulcan County. Public health nurses deliver one bag for each baby.
