Sarge: The Unauthorized Interview

  After hearing about the events in Blood Gulch many of you have been left wondering about the man best known as "Sarge". Who is this reclusive soldier and what made him do the things he did? How did he manage to survive everything that happened? What is he going to do now that it's all over and he's retired from the military? We were fortunate enough to sit down and talk with Sarge and take a deeper look at this soldier and his life.


JMD: Thanks for doing this interview Sarge, I hope we can clear up a few things in light of all the media attention.

Sarge: I don't really like answerin' questions and such, but you bloody reporters won't leave me alone. If only they hadn't taken my shotgun away from me. I miss that gun, killed a lot of people with it. Was hopin' to kill a lot more.

Sarge: Even at that young age I knew killing was my calling, and the army was the place to do it so...

JMD: Some would say that you might be crazy for trying to enlist at twelve.


JMD: I hear they've got it mounted on the wall at the Marine Academy in Norfolk.

Sarge: Waste of a good gun if you ask me. Sure, my fightin' days are behind me but Doris has plenty of murder left in 'er.

JMD: Were you disappointed that they denied your request to enlist?

Sarge: At the time, yes. They wanted me to come back in six years. Do you know what kind of body count I coulda

JMD: Like many of the more dedicated army recruits, you enlisted on your eighteenth birthday, but you tried to begin your career long before then. How old were you the first time you tried to enlist?

Sarge: I do believe I was twelve at the time.

JMD: Did you really think that the battlefield was a proper

 

racked up in six years? It was all for the best I suppose.

JMD: Why not wait until you were 18? Did you have problems in school?

Sarge: I thought my time would be better spent learnin' the A, B, C's of shootin' things.

JMD: Do you have a death wish or something?
