This is a diesel heater that warms both the engine and the interior of the car. The second picture shows the control inside the car. You can program times and durations you want to the heater to come on, for example, program the heater to come on 15 minutes before you leave work. I also have the remote. The antenna in the window allows the remote to work from a long way away. The LED, which I mounted in the indicator pod between the clock and the tach, flashes red when the heater is turned on with the remote. A key fob lets you control the unit, both to turn the heater on in the winter, and the fan on to remove heat in the summer.

The heater warms up the engine and car really quickly, even on very cold days. I can activate it from my second floor office. As well, it can supliment the engine heat on days when the engine itself does not make enough heat running.
