Personal Injury Claims

A person who has been injured, whether in a car crash or otherwise, is often entitled to be compensated by the party causing the injury. Compensation awarded by the courts usually addresses the pain, suffering or handicap an individual may have incurred as the result of the injury, expenses and in some cases, punitive damages against the party that caused the injury.

The most common personal injury claims arise as the result of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle crash. Any injury, however, incurred as the result of someone else's negligence, may give rise to a personal injury claim for damages. Slip and fall injuries, injuries caused by faulty equipment or facilities and injuries caused by someone else's negligent actions may also result in such a claim. If you have suffered such an injury, you may want to review the matter with a lawyer. Please contact Rod Jerke, Q.C.or Derek Redman, Q.C. for more information.
