Deerlodge Outfitting hunts some of the best areas in Alberta for mule deer and whitetail. Mule deer hunts take place in the draw-zones of southern Alberta in November for rifle, October for archery. Whitetail hunts are in the west-central zone of the province during the rut in November. Waterfowl hunts are conducted in the local Standard area, where there is an abundance of ducks, geese, and Hungarian partridge; these take place in September and October.
