Married 2nd marriage about 1840 Esther Kagwaian (porcupine skin) daughter chief Kishkitchiman of the Lac du Flambeau Band. Death record suggests birth about 1786.

Photo taken 1912 Drummond Island suggests Helens parents, Jame's mother and Lucy's parents are living at this time. Marilyn Phelps suggests Archange Cadotte lived 109 years 8 months.
