The Garneau family and Gauthier family joined in the marriage 1908 Edmonton, Alberta between John (Jean) Garneau Metis (1885-1949) and Mary Alexazina Gauthier (1888-1980).

My quest was for the ancestors of Marie Alexander Gauthier (1888-1980)
daughter of Michael Stanislaus Gauthier (1850-1934) and Lea Ouimette (1850-1919) both from St. Edouard, Napierville, Quebec.

1861 census C1300 P-127 lists family but no parents listed, they living with Pierre Poupart b-1800 and Sonia Baulrice
