Married 1787 Scotland and wife is born after 1767, the family arrived Maglignant point before 1800. Source see M-5219 1817 lists family as 10 and 1827 lists family as 10 persons and 1838 census lists only three males not married. He could be the same person as (I)-Dougald McDougall?

1827 census 5 males 5 females implies no children born after 1817 therefore a possible missing generation to Donald of 1818 or not same person as (I)-Dougald
1793 MALIGNANT COVE, NOVA SCOTIA
(I)-Dougald McDougall born about 1770 Arisaig, Scotland is believed to have arrived Malignant Cove, Nova Scotia about 1790 to 1793 and died there February 9, about 1829. His head stone type is used 1821 to 1829 at Arisaig, Nova Scotia.
The first settlement of Catholic highlanders in Antigonish County is 1791 and first church 1792 at Arisaig, Nova Scotia. He is not listed as a settler at Malignant cove in 1790 however in 1791 a ship of emigrants arrived from western Isles of Scotland first settling Pictou, Nova Scotia but under church pressure resettled in Antigonish County away from those protestants. A chapel is built at Malignant Cove in 1793. St. Margarets church at Arisaig, Nova Scotia from 1792 to 1817 is under diocese of Quebec and 1817 to 1844 under diocese Halifax. Positive linkage of Dougald and Donald is not confirmed. Dougald McDougall is buried Arisaig, Nova Scotia.
