We really did get to the resort, this is what our first room looked like:

The playmakers were the entertainment directors to see that you had a good time and organized the activities. Here they are giving a reggae dance demonstration, of which you could also take lessons.
The room looked great, and was a fair size, although we spent more time outside. Proof that we were actually there, so I am in the room. Notice the change in clothes? I did not wear pants again until we left.

Around the Grounds

Beachview.jpg (43864 bytes) Walking along the beach, looking back at one of the buildings at the resort. There was an Italian restaurant located in the bottom (ground floor) and the water sports office was at the end of it. All the rooms circled the main area.
DiBeach.jpg (63664 bytes) Behind me is the glass-bottom boat that you could go out on. It didn't get a lot of business it seemed, while we were there because it was windy. But it didn't bother us much. We didn't spend a lot of time in the pools though.
Grounds2.jpg (48590 bytes) From our balcony we could see the grounds below, as we looked toward the ocean (Ocean-view room). Below you can see the table area for the Beach Grill, near the lawn chess and shuffleboard.
PianoBar.jpg (42276 bytes) This is the Piano Bar, surrounded by a pool so you could stay in the pool and drink, or cross the bridge and stay dry. Dave discovered a drink favourite there. From the previous image this is from the top right corner, between the trees. We were looking around from the balcony.
FallRep1.jpg (59669 bytes) Everyone told us about the Dunn's River Falls. Well since this resort is named for it (and we also got a free tour), they have a replica waterfall on the resort. It is located next to another swim-up bar and empties in the surrounding pool. The playmakers were dancing next to this pool in the above shots.
Grounds3.jpg (28394 bytes) As we said, we had a great view. This is again from our room, looking towards the Fall replica. Dave used the zoom lens to focus in on the gazebo at the top.
ArtDR1.jpg (38087 bytes) Throughout both resorts they have modern art all over. This one is in the main lobby facing the registration desk. There is a staircase above it that goes to the second floor and to Kimono's -- the Japanese style restaurant.
ArtDR2.jpg (38239 bytes) This is the other side of the staircase facing the elevators, and since it is night, the statues are lighted.
BackGrounds.jpg (17923 bytes) Behind the main buildings we found the tennis court, the fitness centre, beauty salon and spa. Since the resort is designed for lovers (heterosexual only), you are always able to find some place to go and be alone.
