1943 The crew reports to 427 (Lion) Sqn RCAF - formed on 7 Nov 42
and based at that time at RAF Leeming which is in North
Yorkshire, just west of Northallerton and adjacent to the
main A1 Trunk road heading north. Leeming is still
operational as an RAF base using Tornados for air defence.
Harry's crew was not included in operations while at Leeming.
