they became brothers joined in a common purpose.
ROBERT CLINTON
PEDLAR Born: Nov. 6, 1921 at Tugaske, Sask. R.C.A.F. casualty
Sept.23, 1943
Clinton was the second son
of Elizabeth Florence (Johnston) Pedlar and Francis Nelson Pedlar. Other sons were Wesley Stanley, born in 1916 and Arthur
Francis born in 1926. Clint's father was the local Pioneer Grain
elevator agent. The family was moved to Lougheed Alberta in 1931,
where Frank later opened a farm implement agency rather than
return to Saskatchewan as requested by the elevator company.
While in High School Clint worked part time in the local drug
store, then on graduation worked in Edmonton for a short time for
the Cockshutt Farm Implement company before joining the R.C.A.F
in 1942.
Among Clinton's
photos was another picture of the crew.
