Dear Dad:
Well dad there’s nothing like the airforce. Ever since I’ve been here I’ve been drilling. I walk strait as a dye and swing my arms to boot.
Well for one thing I’ve been telling the boys just how great you are down there. Will you send me a copy of the speech about the Plebasite (wrong spelling) and one or two more other speeches.
I just wrote ma a letter telling her all about it up here. The meals are great except Friday and they have fish. Gee wiz I can’t think of much to say.
I went to church up here and am going Sunday again. I met lots of other people from camp and many others I don’t know. It took 2 hr. to find the church. The address isn’t even in the telephone book and most everyone doesn’t know the name other than the Anglican Church of Christ (wrong Eng.) Mr. Walkin asked me to dinner on Sunday, but I’m not much at dining out. I walked around the Parliament buildings Sunday and hope to listen some afternoon or evening to the session.
Well I can’t think of anything else to say so goodbye.
Harry
P.S. Don’t forget the speeches
