Acupuncture

Acupuncture stimulates the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, brain and spinal cord. These chemicals either change the experience of pain or trigger the release of other chemicals which influence the body's own internal regulating system.

What can be treated?

While acupuncture is often associated with pain relief, it has much broader applications. It can be effective as the only treatment used, or as support to other treatments to help:

Digestive: gastritis and hyperacidity, spastic colon, constipation, diarrhea.

Respiratory: sinusitis, sore throat, bronchitis, asthma, recurrent chest infections.

Muscular: headaches, neck pain, tennis elbow, tendinitis, back pain, osteoarthritis.
Urinary, menstrual, and reproductive problems.

Eric Jin

Eric was exposed to the practice of acupuncture from an early age. Through his family ties he has gained first-hand experience from his uncle and grandfather in South Korea, learning the proper techniques and procedures of acupuncture. He completed the acupuncture program at Grant MacEwan University in 2010 after excelling in his Bachelor of Science courses. Although acupuncture treats a wide range of conditions, Eric specializes in sports; his main talents are invested in treating muscle injuries and rehabilitating. He has also gained a sufficient understanding of trigger point therapy through his education.
