At Dynamyx, we offer a Pre-competitive and Competitive Program for those gymnasts exhibiting special aptitude for gymnastics as well as the desire to develop their skills beyond the Recreational level. We believe in helping each gymnast work towards their goals in a safe, friendly and supportive environment that always keeps the best interest of the gymnast in the forefront.
Gymnasts involved in the competitive program represent Dynamyx at competitions throughout the Western provinces. The Competitive program requires a larger commitment of time and effort than the Recreational Program. Extra commitment is also required from the parents, including fundraising, working bingos and helping with numerous activities around the gym.
Our competitive coaches all have a minimum of Level 2 NCCP in gymnastics, as well as extensive experience in coaching at a competitive level.
Dynamyx competitive gymnasts have done extremely well over the past few years, qualifying to represent our Club at the Provincial Championships each year. In addition, one of our male gymnasts, Dave Lavallee was the Provincial Champion in 2004 for P3.
We look forward to our competitive program continuing to grow in the future. If you are interested in finding out more or scheduling a try-out, please contact the office at 458-3153. |
