Dynamyx Gymnastics Club is a not for profit organization operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. Since its formation in December, 1993, Dynamyx has undergone a number of changes and has grown dramatically from an initial registration of 90 gymnasts to its current membership of  1300 gymnasts.

Over the past few years the club has made three moves to accommodate the growing membership.  Our first location was in Riel Business Park, followed by a move in 1997  to a much larger location in Campbell Business Park.

The new facility was soon found to be too small for the club's rapid growth, and in April 1998 Dynamyx expanded into further office space next door.  In early July 1998, the club constructed an "in-ground" foam training pit, and an in-ground trampoline, thanks to the thousands of hours of volunteer work by the Board of directors and parents. The club continued to grow rapidly until that location was found to be too small.

In November of 2001, Dynamyx moved to a new 20,000 square foot facility, also in Campbell Business Park. The extra room has allowed us to develop a top-notch gymnastics training facility with two in-ground trampolines, a huge in-ground foam pit, complete Olympic men’s and women’s gymnastics equipment. In addition, we have a dedicated “Tot area” set up with age-appropriate equipment and games. This area is set away from the full size equipment and offers extra safety for our youngest gymnasts. We have also remodeled our space to include an enclosed dance room and also a party room for the many birthday parties and events the club host.

Our gymnastic club has become one of the largest in western Canada and we continue to grow. We are always looking for dynamic people to contribute of their time to make the gymnastics club what it is, but also to find quality coaches to make our program one of the best in Alberta. As well, we mentor young coaches (CIT’s or coaches in training) to build our staff from the athletes who are our gymnasts to the young and talented coaches who will lead the next generation of gymnasts. We also encourage adults to join the CIT program and start a new career in coaching gymnastics.

At Dynamyx, we have struck a balance in our programs that reach a variety of stakeholders, from the athletes who want to have fun, to special needs groups and the athlete with dreams of Olympic proportions!

Dynamyx has enjoyed great success so far, and we look forward to the upcoming years!
