BONA COMP. is a privately run business currently serving Western Canada that provides specialized treatment for people suffering from mental, emotional, & behavioral disorders; dual diagnoses; and brain injury. It is located in Edmonton, Alberta
and is available to other Canadian provinces and countries via telephone and computer mediums.
BONA COMP. focuses on providing individualized treatment for its consumers. Once a functional assessment has been conducted, a treatment plan is
designed for the specific needs of the person identified. The actual treatment can be carried out through distance by loved ones, supporters, and/or direct contact between the consumer and BONA COMP. via the methods mentioned above. Providing
therapeutic service long distance is not an easy task but within the model used by BONA COMP. it is both possible and effective.

Eileen Bona MEd is founder and sole proprietor of BONA COMP. Eileen has a Master of Educational Psychology and is a trained therapist and behavior management specialist. She began understanding the effects of living
with disabilities at an early age as she grew up with an older brother with severe brain injury. Since 1983 she has advocated for persons with disabilities, helping them and their families secure appropriate resources. Eileen helps people with mental,
emotional, & behavioral problems; traumatic brain injuries; and dual diagnoses manage their difficulties and reach their maximum potential.
Services provided by BONA COMP. include individual, family, & relationship counselling for those with and
without special needs; lifestyle planning and goal setting for those with disabilities; and workshops for agencies providing services to those with disabilities and/or organizations interested in promoting positive changes within its
structure.
