    If you are having difficulty finding a job, there maybe many reasons for it. Sometimes
    it is not because you lack the experience or qualification, it may be because you as a
    new immigrant, do not know the Canadian Working culture, so you cannot present yourself
    properly. Or, you simply do not know where to look for jobs.

    ASSIST Community Services Centre ( formerly Chinese Community Services Centre ) and
    Mennonite Centre for Newcomers presents :

    Date: November 15 - 19 (Monday - Friday)
    Time: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every scheduled day

    FUTURE JOB SEARCH CLASSES: ONE WEEK DAY TIME

    Date: February 14 - 18 (Monday - Friday)
    Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every scheduled day

    This class is absolutely free of charge!!!

    Remarks:
    1. Priority will be given to those who landed in Canada less than 3 years.
    2. Seat available: 15
    3. Individual counselling will be provided if needed.

    Attention:

    As requested by the federal and provincial governments, participants for seminars or individuals
    request for settlement services need to provide valid immigration document and allow our staff to
    keep a copy as record.
    Please bring your original immigration document (landing paper/PR card) to the seminar for us to make a copy, or you can bring a photocopied version to us. You will not need to bring it next time.
