Also, with new students coming in, I praise the Lord for how He is at work in bringing all of these new encounters into my life through the English School. I`ve also had many new encounters through being involved in the youth group at Kojo Church, also known as FSC (Fellowship and Sports Club). In this last half year there have been many new kids coming out...Praise the Lord! Each youth carries with them a clear need for

Greetings from Yonezawa Kojo Church! On May 7th, 2004 I went to Japan to start a two-year term as an English Teacher at Yonezawa Kojo Church in Yamagata-ken. Since coming to Japan there have been many occasions when I could clearly sense that people back home were praying for me. We are all indeed binded through Christ in prayer! For the most part, my first year in Japan went by quickly as I was busy trying to learn the basics of teaching English. With one year passing by, though, I think I`ve gotten to know my students well. (And just how unique each person is!)
