SUGGESTION / NOTE: I have not thumbnailed photos on this page yet, so it will take a while to download. Rather than start using the in-page navigation links right away (which will stop the pictures loading), you can scroll down and read the text items first.

eMail Note: Although I am currently not doing digital astrophotos due to a busy schedule, and am not up to date on more recent techniques, I would enjoy hearing from you. (Replies make take several days) NOTE: please do not send any attachements, they cause tech probs at my end and I delete all detachments without looking at them.
Do let me know of any digital astrophotos you have on line.
Thanks, B. FenertyScroll down to tech notes below

NOTES
INFO re montage, pictures of Moon Eclipse Sept26, 1996
taken with Casio QV10, eyepiece projectionTaken with handheld Casio QV10 digital camera through 42 mm Ultima eyepiece on 8 inch Celestar SCT with f6.3 condenser. Automatic exposure. Montage (©) was aligned in SuperPaint computer application, no contrast or other adjustments. Final stages of eclipse shown here; earlier stages of eclipse quite blurry due to cirrus or lower clouds and so not included. (Note cloud blurring especially in left part of montage.) Photos taken just west of Calgary, Canada. East is toward lower left (approx). I also tried other eyepieces beside the 42mm but their eye-relief and exit pupil was not as easy to work with. Suggestions, anyone? Results certainly not as detailed as CCDs or film , but definitely fun to try out and easy to use.
