- Is there a quick way to find something in this site?
check Current Events page using your browser's find-in-page function to speed your search. Although much of the text in the calendars themselves are "graphic text", many of the footnotes are in actual text. Please contact Brian if you have ongoing concerns - Older Calendar site items via our Google link
You can try a Search of this site using Google (opens new window) Note that Google likely hasn't catalogued the latest updates. (You could go straight to Google but the page linked here sets up the search for you to make it usually faster.) - Looking for a special or specific topic?
It may sometimes be listed on the Specific Topics page (no listings at present). Note that list is supplementary and only has items the calendarmaster has had time (and inclination) to list and update; but it may be of occassional help. Alternatively, sometimes (not often) topics are flagged throughout a page or two with a graphic-symbol (eg. for exoplanets). The page may indicate what sysmbols are there, if not check the Symbols page. - Information about this site
See site information page for index of various topics just under welcome message there. Includes site FAQ. - Still can't find the information you want?
Try looking through the Calgary RASC website, There is a lot you can find there. John or Larry or others could well have provided the information you need through those pages. You might also check the eMail links through that homepage if you know of someone (eg on executive or committee) who might have the information. Of course the Starseeker Newsletter for members is another source to check. - If you have miscellaneous inquiries (for verifying latest dates/times/info, directions, other) you might try calling and leaving a message at (403) 237-STAR.(Out-of-town? e-Mail instead to save.)
- Tried the above and no luck?
You might try contacting me by eMail. I may be able to track it down for you. Note that I can't necessarily reply immediately if I have some busy days offline. Or if you see me at a General meeting or Observer's Group (sometimes in a western hat), be sure to ask and I can guide you to the info or someone who knows.
I hope the above suggestions help. Brian
