Golum has been trouble from the get-go.  His first show weekend, Golum decided to show me what humble pie tastes like.  Although he is perfectly mannered at home, Golum decided that he would not stand in the show ring - not for the judge, not for fellow exhibitors and certainly not for me!  I gave him to a few breeder friends to work with and needless to say, Golum was even less impressed with those shenanigans!  Although I was ready to give up on Golum, I was so frustrated, I decided to give him another chance.  Let's just say that Golum has gotten over his temper tantrum and has proven to me over and over again that I made the right decision to keep him and give him another chance!

Golum has been extremely successful in the show ring in the past year.  He has been handled to many of his points, and was finished by my daughter Ashley, who not only put Golum's final points on him, but has also handled him to a few good showings in the junior handling ring.  This boy is a gem!
