
Mission Statement
"To promote the stroke recovery process for stroke recoverers
and their families by providing communication, education, start
up assistance and support to stroke recovery groups throughout
Alberta; and to represent stroke recoverers' interests through
liaison with governments, corporations, health care organizations,
and the public"

History
Started in 1983 as a chapter of the now defunct Canadian Stroke
Recovery Association and was dormant since 1992. The Association
was re-activated in 2000.
