     My life changed in seconds on   

    March 10, 1996, I had a CVA -

             Brainstem Stroke 

 

    After two years of therapy in

    the Dr Vernon Fanning Center

    I am lucky to be able to live

    at home with my husband Bill,

    who made it possible to do so.

 

   Life is for the living and I have

   a lot of living to do yet.

 

   With my wheels, I can attend

   computer classes, crafts and

   go sailing .

 

   And most of all, see our little

   fellows swim or play soccer

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  There is no greater thrill in life

   than being a Grandma

 

   I would like to thank you all

   for making my life worth living.

 

   My greatest challenge now is

   to educate society :

   yes I am in a wheelchair but

   I am not brain dead.
