This will hold your rear door open if your hatch struts are weak.  It's easier to use than a stick.  The tube slides into place when you lift the door.
3/4" Rigid PVC conduit, 8" long. Use at your own risk.

If your hatch struts are weak, I would suggest replacing your hatch struts with new ones.  It's not that expensive.
