Genesis 28:12 records what may be the world's best-known dream: Jacob's dream of a ladder to heaven.

Background

This quilt was made for the CQA/ACC and Trend-Tex 17th Annual Quilter's Challenge.  CQA/ACC members were invited to purchase a kit of five fat quarters of fabric (the black and white fabrics, donated by Trend-Tex Fabrics), and challenged to produce a quilt on the theme of Pieced Dreams.  All five fabrics in the kit had to be visible on the front of the quilt, and up to three fabrics of the maker's choosing could be added (I added solid black, red, and yellow).  Completed quilts donated back to the CQA/ACC were displayed at Quilt Ontario 2005, Kitchener-Waterloo, ON, and were sold by auction.
