In 1988 I started building a 1938 chevy half ton, which still isn't done, at my shop in Glenwood Alberta where I operated a trucking company for 20 years. My dream was to have a hot-rod shop someday.
Friends, acquaintances and family would come over to have me help them with there vehicles, body work, painting and so on. You know the story, you help me and I'll help you. The I'll help you never happened and the pay was terrible.
So... finally one day I decided it was time to sell those five trucks and go after my dream, even though the money was less, restoring vehicles was lots more fun. An opportunity to work on a variety of projects and also get to meet a lot of nice people and customers.
I've never turned down any work, because there's always a solution, you just have to look for it and not give up.
We also take photos of the work being done. We treat every car or truck as if it was our own. We will not take on the job if the customer only wants half a job. We believe in doing it the proper way. We treat our customers the same way we like to be treated.
Ninety-nine percent of our work is done by the hour, since we can't estimate what we can't see, like rust, etc. We still believe "Honesty is the only policy."
Having said that, we look forward to hearing from you and we'll help in anyway we can.
We have cars for sale, some belong to us, others are on consignment from other customers and friends. We also try to locate hard to find parts. We try to accommodate our customers any way we can, re-chroming or whatever.
We strive to do our best. Our customers have won lots of trophies showing our work.
