Dinosaur Country Science Camp

What To Wear

Our Days are Spent Outside, Rain or Shine.

How you dress really makes a difference! Matt, Dave and the others are well dressed for a day in the field, with sturdy footwear and clothing that protects them from the sun, wind, biting insects and scratchy vegetation. (Dave just took his hat off for a moment). Matt's pack has his water bottle, rain gear and a hearty lunch we provide. His sweater is still tied around his waist from when it was cooler, but he'll stuff it in his pack when he has a chance.

Additional things you'll need at camp include warm clothing, sleeping bag and pad, swim gear and toiletries.

Rainy days are when hoodoos are made, dinosaur bones are uncovered and waterfalls grace the badlands. They can be the best time to go for a hike but you have to be prepared. Good rain gear is essential, since you never know when it will rain.
