The people were democratically governed and lived under free-trade pacts long before
Europeans arrived in the Americas.

THE PEOPLE - INDIAN, INUIT and DENE
The early French were an indentured lot forcing many to escape to freedom to become Metis.
I want to collect pictures that more accurately reflect the general population rather than
some French official who returned to France upon completion of his duties.
METIS and OJIBWA at KITCHI-GAMI
The creation of the Metis Nation is built on the foundation of the Ojibwa Culture.
This mix of people quietly and without fanfare explored and mapped the interior of a
continent.
I want to collect pictures that more accurately reflect the explorer and industrial
activity of the Ojibwa and Metis peoples.
