EARLY INDIAN CULTURE Photo is of Indians in canoe

The people were democratically governed and lived under free-trade pacts long before Europeans arrived in the Americas.
I want to collect pictures that more accurately reflect this Canadian historical reality.

NEW FRANCE aka QUEBEC Photo is of French settlers in boat

The early French were an indentured lot forcing many to escape to freedom to become Metis.
I want to collect pictures that more accurately reflect the general population rather than some French official who returned to France upon completion of his duties.

METIS and OJIBWA at KITCHI-GAMIPhoto is an Ojibwa Nation sign

The creation of the Metis Nation is built on the foundation of the Ojibwa Culture.
This mix of people quietly and without fanfare explored and mapped the interior of a continent.
I want to collect pictures that more accurately reflect the explorer and industrial activity of the Ojibwa and Metis peoples.
