The Battle of Seven Oaks of 1816 in the Metis Colony of Red River.

A contingent of 25 British invaders from their fort foolishly attacked General Grant's Canadian Metis Mounted Cavalry.
It is noteworthy that the Metis are represented as Indians, rather than Metis, an American tactic used to inflame Europeans against the Native populations.
